Welcome to the Habitat Store volunteer new sign-up page! We’re so glad you’re here and interested in sharing your time and energy with us. Please review the available shifts below. If a shift isn’t listed, that means it isn’t available that day—the Store may be closed or we may have a special activity happening. Each shift is 2 hours long, and you’re welcome to sign up for up to 4 shifts per day (with breaks as needed, of course).
On-the-job training is provided for all roles, but if it’s your first time volunteering, we encourage you to start with a “New Volunteer” shift. These shifts are designed to give you a warm welcome, introduce you to our staff and operations, and help you feel confident in your role.
Our regular Store volunteer opportunities include Customer Service, Merchandising, Art Processing, Pick-Up Crew, and Special Projects. Each one plays an important part in supporting Habitat’s mission. The ability to access these opportunities requires a volunteer orientation, at which you will get the password that allows you to sign up. If you are getting the Volunteer Email Update, please look there for the password.
If you have any questions or trouble signing up, please reach out to Amy or call our office at 360-379-2827. We’re always happy to help. Thank you for being part of our Habitat team!

In Support of Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County
Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Home is the key to stability, wellness, and a sense of belonging.
Habitat homeowners, working alongside volunteers, help build their own homes. They move into their new homes having invested sweat equity and paying an affordable mortgage.
With your support, we build a more prosperous and vibrant community. Affordable housing is the key to a thriving Jefferson County!
