The Habitat Store at Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County has been serving our community for over two decades, turning donations of furniture, appliances, and home goods into funding that builds and repairs homes right here in East Jefferson County. Every dollar raised at the Store stays local to help families achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable housing. By shopping, donating, or volunteering, you’re directly supporting your neighbors and investing in a stronger community.

There’s always something happening at the Habitat Store, and volunteers are at the heart of it all! From organizing donations and assisting customers on the sales floor to helping with furniture repair or making donation pick-ups, there’s a volunteer role for every interest and skill level. If you’d like to join the team, start by signing up for a volunteer orientation. Afterward, you’ll receive the password to access the Store’s volunteer schedule and start signing up for shifts.
