Habitat Out in the World

We need enthusiastic volunteers to help staff our Habitat booths at community events around Port Townsend and Jefferson County! We show up at the Farmer's Market, Port Townsend Pride Festival, the Home Show, and other fun local gatherings throughout the year.

At the booth, you'll help hand out Habitat swag, chat with community members, and answer questions about what Habitat is up to, like how someone can get involved as a volunteer, what projects we have coming up, or why the Store focuses on furniture and household goods rather than building materials (there's a good answer for that one, and we'll make sure you know it).

You won't be out there on your own. Every shift will have Amy or another knowledgeable Habitat team member alongside you. Before you get started, we'll give you a rundown of the common questions and everything you need to feel confident and ready.

It's a great way to connect with your community, represent a cause worth talking about, and have some fun doing it.
