  • Join Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County as we celebrate the groundbreaking of the Mason Street Neighborhood, a transformative affordable housing development that will serve local families for generations to come.

    This exciting community event is expected to welcome more than 500 attendees, including community leaders, elected officials, donors, partners, future homeowners, and supporters.

    We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this milestone celebration a success. Volunteer responsibilities may include:

    - Setting up tables, chairs, tents, and event materials
    - Installing parking, directional, and informational signage throughout the site
    - Assisting with guest arrival and parking coordination
    - Greeting attendees and providing wayfinding support
    - Supporting refreshment and hospitality stations
    - Assisting with VIP guest logistics
    - Monitoring activity areas and educational displays
    - Helping with event breakdown and cleanup

    This is a great opportunity to be part of a historic moment for our community, meet fellow supporters, and help create a welcoming experience for hundreds of guests.

    Volunteer Requirements:

    - Comfortable walking on uneven outdoor terrain
    - Able to lift and carry light-to-moderate event materials as needed
    - Friendly, professional, and willing to assist wherever needed
    - Available for all or part of the event day

    Your support will help ensure a smooth, safe, and memorable celebration as we take the first official step toward bringing the Mason Street Neighborhood to life.
